The 4th Anniversary Commemorative Ceremony of No. (1) Special Regiment (SR-1)

  1. Today, December 25, 2025, marks the 4th Anniversary of the founding of No. (1) Special Regiment (SR-1).

  2. During the early stages of the regiment's establishment, we confronted severe shortages of arms and ammunition, materiel, rations, and military uniforms, alongside numerous other hardships. These challenges were overcome solely through the courage, conviction, and absolute unity of our comrades-in-arms.

  3. Our sustained operational readiness and combat capability from our inception to the present day are the direct results of the selfless sacrifices of our comrades and the unwavering support of the public. From the onset of combat operations in 2021 up to this 4th Anniversary, No. (1) Special Regiment (SR-1) has triumphantly raised the banner of victory across all civil affairs initiatives and military operations.

  4. From the dawn of the revolution to the present, thirty-seven (37) martyred comrades have fallen in the line of duty. We hereby offer our most profound salutes and highest honors to their bereaved families, as well as to all who have unhesitatingly sacrificed their lives, time, livelihoods, and personal wealth for the cause.

  5. We remain eternally mindful of and deeply respectful toward the comrades who laid down their lives or sustained severe physical injuries midway through this revolutionary campaign. We solemnly pledge to carry forward their unfinished legacy as our steadfast duty.

  6. On the occasion of this 4th Anniversary, we firmly reaffirm our oath to uphold the solemn vows of the People Defence Force. We pledge to fight relentlessly to the very end—until the complete eradication of the military dictatorship and the successful establishment of a new Federal Democratic Nation.
